I’ll take an AT-AT over a robotic titan any day.
Respawn Entertainment, known for the multiplayer shooter Titanfall (and its recently announced sequel), is working on a third-person action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. Game director Stig Asmussen revealed the news on the company’s site today (an announcement planned to go along with May 4, Star Wars Day).

We don’t know much about the game outside of the whole third-person-action-adventure thing at the moment.
This news makes sense, since publisher Electronic Arts (which owns the video game rights to Star Wars) worked with Respawn on Titanfall, a game that already has a sci-fi setting. We’ve also known for a while that Respawn was hiring for a third-person project for some time. Many assumed it was for a Titanfall-related project, but now we know it was for this Star Wars game.
So far, EA’s Star Wars releases have been limited to the online, first-person shooter Battlefront and mobile releases like Commander. This could be the first major, story-driven Star Wars game from EA, although we know that Visceral Games is also working with the franchise.
