The heavily armored mechanical “suits” known as Titans are the main attraction of Titanfall. As cool as they are, we can’t help wondering how mechs from other popular video games would look in the world of Respawn‘s first-person shooter.
Take, for example, Metal Gear REX [above] from the Metal Gear Solid series. How awesome would it be to stomp on puny pilots, like Liquid Snake did to Gray Fox, and hunt down Titans using REX’s rail gun and anti-tank missiles?

PTX-40A (Lost Planet)
Snow Pirates on E.D.N. III use PTX-40A (white) and PTX-140 (brown) Vital Suits to fend off giant monsters on a daily basis, so dealing with Titans and their tricky pilots should be no problem.
CR-T Recruit (Hawken)
The CR-T Recruit is a well-rounded, all-purpose mech. It looks like a piece of junk on the outside, but its ease of use and firepower makes it a favorite among rookie pilots.

BX-02 Blodia (Cyberbots)
Blodia’s sheer size alone should make your opponents’ skin crawl, but they should really worry about its devastating Arm Knuckle.

Jehuty (Zone of the Enders)
Orbital Frames are built for space combat. This means that Jehuty could destroy an entire fleet of Titans before they even enter the planet’s atmosphere.
Temjin and Fei Yen (Virtual On)

The Titans’ chain guns and rocket launchers are capable weapons, but can they overpower Temjin’s energy sword and Fei Yen’s heart-shaped beams?
Weltall (Xenogears)
Weltall is the last thing many pilots see before they die. This powerful Gear earned the nickname “Slayer of God” for a reason. You shall not pass.

Gustaff and Ride Armors (Mega Man)
The Gustaff doesn’t look too intimidating, but it’s Tron Bonne you should worry about. She has clashed against world-enders like Marvel’s Shuma-Gorath and Galactus – and won! In the slim chance that Titans overwhelm Tron, she has X and Vile to back her up.

Magitek Armor (Final Fantasy VI)
Titans are a technological marvel, but they still rely on conventional weapons. The Magitek Armor, however, fires a magic laser beam from its “chest” — yeah, magic. Also, it’s a topless mech, so the pilot remains cool while looking hot.
Death Egg Robot (Sonic the Hedgehog)
What’s the scariest thing a pilot can encounter at the end of a dark corridor? A giant egg with a moustache. The sight of Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot stuns and demoralizes enemies, making psychological warfare its most effective tactic.
Mecha-Hitler (Wolfenstein 3D)
No one knows how Adolf Hitler has eluded death for so long. My guess is a mix of secret Nazi technology and sorcery. Regardless, the evil dictator strolls around in a mechanical suit armed with quad chain-guns. Mecha-Hitler is virtually invincible, unless he gets shot in his fishbowl helmet, but who would ever do such a thing…?
