This update should address issues in the following ways:

  • Improved network performance
  • Fixed Theater Mode UI error
  • Fixed Excort Drone bug
  • Fixed undeployable Dragonfire bug
  • Fixed FHJ-18 AA leveling bug

This is just a small subset of developer Treyarch’s updates. The studio already released this patch on PlayStation 3 as well.

Prior to the patch, players experienced a handful of common connection issues. Dropped games, host migrations, and a significant amount of lag plagued far more games than what is typical for a Call of Duty game.

Users in the Treyarch forums have almost unanimously reported improvements in terms of these connection problems.

We’ll update this with the full patch notes once Treyarch makes them available.
