Experience is wonderful, but nothing beats double experience — and of course we all learned how unnatural triple experience is in Sunday school.

The developer launched a Double XP Weekend for its first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops II earlier today. The event lasts through Monday afternoon on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC.
As usual, Treyarch is coupling the Double XP Weekend with something it wants to celebrate. In this case, that’s the impending launch of the Uprising expansion for the Xbox 360 version on April 16.
Uprising is part of the Black Ops II downloadable content Season Pass, which costs $39.99. For everyone else, it will retail at 1,200 Microsoft Points (or $15 in Earth currency).
