Ubisoft is so sorry that it delayed the Wii U version of Rayman Legends so it could release the game simultaneously on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but it’s not sorry enough to release the game before September.

This mode will pit players against one another in daily and weekly challenges. This is the first online mode for any Rayman game.
The challenges spawn across five different levels, which each focus on a different kind of play style. One level tests reaction times while another might focus on precise platforming skills.
One of the levels, called The Dungeon, provides challenges to players based on the Wii U’s GamePad controller. Even when the game finally does ship for the Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, this level will remain exclusive to Nintendo’s hardware.
This is the full mode that will end up on the retail disc. Gamers will be able to compete in any of the challenges solo or with up to five people. Leaderboards and ghosts will help players keep track of their friends.
The game’s creative director Michel Ancel and senior game manager Michael Micholic go into a bit more detail in the video below:
So, are you ready to forgive Ubisoft for delaying Rayman Legends yet?
