"All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware." — Martin Buber

Video Blips:

• I have a feeling I'll spend all my time in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim either plumbing its bountiful mysteries or getting hopelessly lost. I'll probably earn a reputation among the rural villages as "that creepy guy who stares at the aurora borealis for too long in the middle of the forest."

Continue after the break for corporate malevolence of an ancient degree in Assassin's Creed: Revelations, 13 minutes of the most brain-melting promotional content ever for Saints Row: The Third, and L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition's PC release.

• Abstergo Industries' initiative for motivating its employees includes encouragement for killing virtual Turkish people in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Or it's just a ploy to keep you in the Animus' cushioned, comforting interior while the science team hogs all the donuts in the break room.

• Combining Saints Row: The Third's psychedelic Professor Genki with the deranged minds of filmmaker duo Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim seems like a good idea — on paper. Now that I've watched this normally, it's time for a batch of mushrooms and another press of "Play."

• Detective Phelps' loud voice, leering police captains, and exploding houses all arrive in the PC release of L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition. Crisper graphics mean more vibrant expressions of dismay whenever I expose someone lying to my face. I'm perfectly fine with this.
