The Elder Scrolls Online is a sequel to the previous Elder Scrolls game, including the most recent release, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. TESO is similar to the others in the series, but — for the first time — Bethesda is taking the action fully online in a massive and persistent world.

TESO has players picking their race and class and fighting in the War of Cyrodiil as different factions fight to claim the Ruby Throne and take control of the kingdom. The MMO features a player-versus-player system that enables hundreds of gamers to fight with or against each other at one time.
