It’s time for Ork Boyz to holler “WAAAGH!!!” from their Bonebreakas in a neverending chase for … points.

Games Workshop and Artcode Interactive have signed a deal to make an endless runner based in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. This unannounced game will hit iOS and Android smartphones and tablets first. Brands like Warhammer help apps stand out in the crowded $36 billion gaming market.

To Artcode CEO Richard Sirohi, Warhammer 40K vehicles are so enticing that it made sense to design a game around them rather than the humanoids.

“One of the greatest collection of vehicles can be found in the Warhammer 40K universe – we consider it the ‘holy grail’ of vehicular combat. Some of us who were at Relic Entertainment forged our interests and skills on the Warhammer games. We always knew there was this great collection of war bikes, war buggies, tanks, and some of the best war vehicles from any game franchise out there,” the studio cofounder said. ”

It’s also someone no other company has done.

No one else had done a Warhammer game where the vehicles were the focus. For the longest time we talked about how awesome it would be to drive these powerful machines of war into the front lines of battle,” Sirohi said. “When the opportunity was available, we connected with Games Workshop around the idea of a game based on vehicular combat. We’re proud to be creating this mobile game and have an exciting long term strategy that we believe, with the support of our fans, will help realize this new vision in the Warhammer 40K universe.”
