Watch Nintendo broadcast the 3DS Super Smash Bros. for hours right here

Nintendo apparently wants to spend all of Friday playing video games, but don’t worry, it’s going to let you watch.

The publisher is going to livestream a handful of big upcoming releases starting at 10 a.m. Pacific today. The Nintendo Treehouse, which is the section of Nintendo of America responsible for localizing products for the U.S., will begin by playing anticipated Wii U and 3DS software. Starting at 1 p.m., the video event will shift over to about five straight hours of Nintendo’s four-player fighting game Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, which features a huge roster of familiar Nintendo characters duking it out.

The other featured games include the following:

  • Bayonetta 2 — A Wii U action title that has players taking on waves of enemies while controlling a gun-wielding witch. It is due out Oct. 24.
  • Hyrule Warriors — A Wii U release that takes elements from the fantasy-based Legend of Zelda franchise and combines them with the action combat of Dynasty Warriors. It debuts Sept. 26.
  • Captain Toad Treasure Tracker — A Wii U puzzle platformer that has players figuring out three-dimensional brain teasers. It will release this holiday.
  • Ultimate NES Remix — A Wii U release that features short snippets from 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System classics as challenges. It is also due out this holiday.
  • Fantasy Life — A 3DS fantasy role-playing game. Nintendo has it coming in October.

Following that lineup, Nintendo will go right into its multi-hour Smash Bros. broadcast. The publisher will play the completed 3DS version, which is due out Oct. 3. While Nintendo is showing off Smash Bros. and a number of Wii U games, it has not revealed any plans to talk about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. That version still does not have a solid release date. Nintendo is still only saying that it is coming “this holiday.”

But maybe the gaming giant will sneak that info in at the end of the show. You can find out for yourself by watching the video below when it goes live:
