We're relaunching GamesBeat Unfiltered. Here's what you need to know

OK, maybe that's a bit dramatic, but we're excited!

A lot of changes are coming to the GamesBeat community.

A new post editor will make it easier to write and publish stories for GamesBeat Unfiltered, and a new post manager will make it easier for you to keep track of all of your drafts and live stories.

Of course, all of these changes are going to take a little time to implement. For the switchover, we’ll be shutting down the publishing tools for GamesBeat Unfiltered on Thursday evening. Note that you’ll still see previously published stories on GamesBeat Unfiltered while the publishing tools are down. If everything goes according to plan, the system should be back up by the end of the weekend with the new features.

All of your old, published stories will still be there after the switch, but any unpublished drafts will disappear Thursday evening. So if you’ve been working on anything that you haven’t yet submitted, please make sure that you save your draft somewhere else!

We’ll have more information soon about the changes coming to our community. We’re incredibly excited about the re-launch, and we plan to push and promote GamesBeat Unfiltered harder and louder than ever before. For anyone who’s written for us so, thank you!

We’ll see you on the other side in a few days!
