During Black Friday and Cyber Monday, you would have found the consoles a little cheaper, but only if you caught them in stock. Then, supply went so quickly that most of the heavily discounted consoles sold out within 30 minutes of emergence.

Over the next few months, we’ll probably see the newer consoles back at full price, so now is a good opportunity to take advantage of the available discounts.

In the case of the Wii U Deluxe, this makes a very rare price point. Most big box retailers currently have this at the standard $299.99 price, and the console has seen few discounts, with the notable exception being the aforementioned limited time holiday discounts.
