A leak has given us some new details on World of Warcraft’s next expansion.

A splash page image (above) showed up on Battle.net revealing info and a release date for Legion, as GameSpot reported. The sixth expansion for the popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game should come out on September 21.

We’ll find out more about Legion when BlizzCon begins today. A panel on the expansion begins at 12:30 p.m. Pacific.

The image also promotes an instant boost to level 100, the game’s pre-Legion level cap. The last expansion, Warlords of Draenor, had a similar boost to level 90.

That’s a longer wait for the expansion than some might have expected. Blizzard might have a hard time keeping players engaged until then. Warcraft currently has 5.5 million subscribers. That’s good for No. 1 among MMOs, but it’s also the game’s lowest player base since 2005.
