It took longer than an Undertaker entrance, but a WWE game is finally coming to PC.
WWE 2K15, the latest entry in the yearly franchise (which we enjoyed), is available on Steam. It was previously available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
This is the first time a WWE game from the modern era has come out for PC. The Steam version comes with all of the content from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases, but you also get all of the downloadable content ever released for the game. This includes two versions each of Sting and Hulk Hogan as playable characters. You can also downloadable further content for free this spring, including a stable of WCW wrestlers like Lex Luger and Diamond Dallas Page. You’ll also get access to additional WWE Showcases, which let you play out memorable WWE storylines, that cover Mark Henry, the Ultimate Warrior, and the rivalry between Randy Orton and Christian.
“WWE 2K15 for Windows PC represents another step forward for the WWE 2K portfolio as we continue expanding the brand’s content offerings to additional platforms,” said Greg Thomas, president at developer Visual Concepts in a press release sent to GamesBeat. “PC gamers who are long-time franchise fans are certain to enjoy the comprehensive and authentic WWE experience through simulation-based gameplay for the very first time.
Hopefully, this is a sign that future WWE games will also come out for PC.
