You may experience problems signing into Xbox Live today.
Microsoft has confirmed through its Xbox status site that the Xbox Live gaming service is not working properly. Some gamers on Xbox One and Xbox 360 (as well as people trying to sign in through a browser) are encountering errors when they first try to log in.

“Are you having a tough time signing in to Xbox Live? Additionally, are you unable to create or manage existing accounts? We are aware of the situation and have our best on it. Thanks for being patient while we work to find a fix.”
This outage is preventing gamers from getting online to play multiplayer releases like Call of Duty and Destiny (which is actually experiencing a separate outage of its own). But this is also causing issues for people who want to play primarily single-player adventures like Assassin’s Creed: Unity or The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. Those titles rely on connections to third-party servers to work.
