Xbox Live

Microsoft is reporting that its Xbox Live subscribers logged a record number of hours on the service last week.

“It’s been 10 years since the launch of Xbox Live, and the service is bigger and better than ever and booming with games and entertainment,” Microsoft said in a statement. “Xbox Live registered the most time spent on the service ever, with 442 million hours in a one week period,” from Nov. 6-13.

The record number of logged hours on the service is likely due to two very significant events that happened last week: the release of Halo 4 and Xbox Live’s live presidential election day coverage.
