Xbox One gamers watch porn longer than PlayStation 4 owners

Gamers are just as red-blooded as the rest of the world. They have needs, and sometimes they use their gaming systems to fulfill those desires. Nothing wrong with that.

Yesterday, GamesBeat reported that three times as many PlayStation 4 owners signed up for accounts with adult website SugarDVD than Xbox One owners in December, but that’s not the whole story. The self-proclaimed “Netflix of Porn” has a load of information regarding the habits of next-gen gamers.

While PS4 might have more adult-film connoisseurs, the Xbox One hosted longer sessions.

“The average time spent per session varied quite a bit,” SugarDVD spokesperson Nicole Stetter told GamesBeat. “For PS4 users, it was 17 minutes versus 26 minutes with Xbox One users.”

SugarDVD also found that 6 percent more of its female members own a PlayStation 4 than Xbox One.

Of course, SugarDVD isn’t just for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The porn site also works with iOS, Android, and more. Of the PS4 SugarDVD members, 43 percent also streamed films on their computer. That number was only 29 percent for the Xbox One crowd.

In terms of mobile, 32 percent of PS4 SugarDVD subscribers also streamed on their Android, 14 percent used an iPad, and 10 percent did their private business on an iPhone. Of the Xbox One subscribers, 21 percent also used an Android, 9 percent watched SugarDVD on an iPad, and only 7 percent did it on an iPhone.

“Conclusively, we gathered that PS4 users tend to have more devices,” said Stetter.
