If you’ve ever dreamed of punching Link or Wario in the digital kisser, you’re in luck. Nintendo today announced it’s including Mii Fighters in its upcoming brawler for the Wii U and 3DS, Super Smash Bros.

The Mii Fighters will be just as competitive as the regular roster, Nintendo said during a digital event today during the Electronic Entertainment Expo. It will have three varieties of Miis — Brawlers, Swordfighters, and Gunners. They will have 36 total special moves, although each Fighter will only be able to choose four from a selection of 12.

Mii Fighters won’t be limited to just your digital likeness, either; Nintendo said players can re-create any Mii, such as celebrities like Ice-T and Elijah Wood (Nintendo’s examples, not mine).

Smash Bros Palutena E3 2014

Nintendo later said that it’s adding another new character to the roster: Palutena from the Kid Icarus series. A fictional goddess of light, Palutena first appeared as a nonplayable character in 1986’s Kid Icarus. In Super Smash Bros., she’ll wield godly powers like angelic missiles and black holes.

Although the company claimed the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. is “almost ready,” it didn’t give a solid release date. The Wii U version is expected sometime this winter.
