That viral “ice bucket challenge” trend is finally getting some gaming baddies to do some good.

Someone challenged the Corpus, the evil characters from developer Digital Extremes’ free-to-play shooter Warframe, to the ice-bucket challenge — and it accepted. This viral-video sensation, which is part of an effort to raise awareness for ALS (or Lou Gehrig’s disease), started catching on this month. Digital Extremes posted the video online today of the Corpus soaking in ice-cold digital water. While the ice water wasn’t real, the developer also donated $10,000 to the ALS Association.

Of course, no ice-bucket challenge is complete without passing it on. The Corpus decided to nominate the Ghost from Bungie’s upcoming shooter Destiny, Claptrap from Gearbox’s action game Borderlands, and Master Chief from the Halo shooter franchise.
