Nintendo may give gamers in North America a chance to own the Triforce … or at least a 3DS XL with the Triforce painted on it.
A leaked GameStop flier for the retailer’s Black Friday sale lists a Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL bundle, as first spotted by deal website BFAD (via SideQuesting). The package includes the new Zelda game and a gold-and-black 3DS XL with Triforce artwork on each of its two mismatched halves. Gamers can snag the bundle for $220.
We’ve reached out to Nintendo to ask if it plans to release the new Zelda 3DS XL alongside the game on Nov. 22, which is a week before Black Friday. We will update with any new information.
GameStop confirmed to Polygon that the leaked flier is real, but it wouldn’t comment on anything in the ads.
Nintendo confirmed the release of an identical bundle for its European customers in an announcement earlier this week, but it did not specify if the special 3DS XL would find its way to U.S. gamers.
A Link Between Worlds is a followup to Super Nintendo release The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It takes place in the same universe, and the the two-toned paint job of the Zelda-themed 3DS XL represents the dual worlds of the game.
In addition to the Zelda 3DS XL, the GameStop ad also reveals a $170 Luigi’s Mansion bundle that comes with the game and a Luigi-themed 3DS.
