Nintendo announced some surprises for fans of its The Legend of Zelda series during its Nintendo Direct stream today, all celebrating the franchise’s 30th anniversary. This includes four new Amiibo featuring versions of characters from classic Zelda games, which you can see above. They will also have functionality with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which comes out next March for Wii U and NX.
Nintendo also announced that Skyward Sword, which originally came out for the Wii, is now available to download for the Wii U. It joins other Wii classics like the Super Mario Galaxy series and Metroid Prime Trilogy. Dark Horse is also publishing new Zelda books, including one looking at the series’ art.
