It’s nearly Halloween, and I can’t think of anything scarier than some new slots games from Zynga.
To add extra spookiness to the flash and spectacle of its Hit It Rich! slots title on Facebook and Zynga.com, the social-gaming publisher is partnering with entertainment properties for new themed slots. HBO classic Sex and the City, A&E reality show Duck Dynasty, and comedy-horror film Elvira, Mistress of the Dark are all getting their own virtual machines.

The Duck Dynasty and Sex and the City tables are coming soon, but the Elvira slots are playable to anyone who is a certain level in the game. These three new tables join previously licensed tables based on 1980s sci-fi film The Terminator and classic fantasy film The Wizard of Oz.
“I’m so excited to hook up with Zynga,” Elvira actor Cassandra Peterson said in a statement. “Now my fans can get lucky with me in my new Hit It Rich! slots game. Together we can share our favorite jack-pot moment or just kick back and watch my sexy self spin across the screen.”
Slots games are a popular category on the Facebook platform. They feature bright colors and lots of visual stimulation, but unlike real slots you find in Las Vegas, these games don’t pay out real money. They still generate a ton of revenue for social-casino publishers because players can still pay to purchase bonuses and more coins to keep playing.
