The godfather of MMOs (or grandfather for some) has introduced the Hero's Forge, a way to add new armor to your character.

I am excited to announce the newest feature for EverQuest launching in August: Hero's Forge!
Hero's Forge is a new armor system that allows you to dramatically change the appearance of your armor.
A user purchases the Hero's Forge on the EverQuest marketplace, which will give them access to a new suit of armor via a change to their augment system. Additional armor pieces can be found by questing, raiding, and purchasing additional sets from the marketplace.
EverQuest has been live since 1998, and due to it's age in the MMO world suffers from graphical restrictions. Many community members feel this is a step in bleeding new life into their masterpiece.
