Air Mech is an RTS style battle arena game currently in the open beta stage. There are several game modes like survival, PvP and coop and many more. you start out with a main base that you need to defend or else you will win the game and in PvP modes or Coop and others you have to defend to stay alive and attack to win. There are several types of different units and you can use these to your advantage by spawning them and airdropping them with your mech. The mech can fly and walk around to attack ground units. There are several different types of mechs which tend to specialize in either combat against other mechs and units or like the osprey and helicopter mechs that tend to specialize in in airdropping units on the ground and more of a non combat offensive role.
There are several small bases on the maps that you can take over by either dropping or escorting soldiers to them. The soldiers will go inside and if 4 soldiers are inside you can take control of the base.
One thing i like about this game is that if you feel like playing at RTS you can play it that way by just moving units around and giving them different orders. Or if you want more action you can fly a jet and play a super offensive role by being on the front lines and attacking and killing.
The only problems with this game that i can see is that when thee are lots of units the graphics lag and not just on my computer but on other. The game looks relatively nice and its great to have on the high graphics settings but if youre plaqying a game mode like survival it will make it difficult to play in the later rounds because of so many unit firing all at the same time, but beta is beta.
I would recommend this game to everyone because it is free to play and the microtransaction business model is really good because it is not pay to win and you dont have to put money into the game because each match gives you a pretty good amount of the in game currency Kudos.
