That question entered my mind as I played Sim City this morning. I thought how awesome would it be to freeze or slow down the city time so that I could become a teenage sim with a gun. OH YEA! A teenage sim with a gun!
What would I do with it? Have my sim shoot itself in the head of course. How else will we destroy the giant monster that Mayor Tsew Mada (silent "T") summoned? He lured it here with unearthed copies of E.T. found in the new playground and the promise to get rid of taxes in 5 years. We're going to have a scantily clad sim in a house with no exits or restrooms think that it's committing suicide when really it's saving the city!
Oh no, if he destroy's the gun before the sim grabs it then you have to buy the Persona Gun again!
Of course, these types of scenarios and events are not cheap to develop. Maxis and Blah Blah struck a deal that will allow for city planners everywhere to spend $40 on the Persona gun item for Sim City. $40 for a 38 KB download? That's the word from EA. They heard how much the online pass irritated their fans so they did it away with it but still needed to keep their profit margins up. It's amazing that they got the price so low while licensing Persona for use from Atlus, maybe they're going to be bought out by EA soon?

Yes, that does seem to be a bit outrageous but it does arguably unlock an entirely different game. Leave it to Maxis to know what its' players want. It heard that you like Demon Summoning so they put a Persona Gun in your Sim City so you can Demon Summon while you play city plan. It makes sense and is an excellent reason for why Persona should be DLC for Sim City.
