Now that E3 is in full effect not many details have been released about the Wii U. I don't really care about the price point, I will most likely be buying one at launch; what I'm most concerned with is no announcement of trophy/achievement support. Like I said, I will be buying on the day it comes out, but I will be doing so begrudgingly without a Nintendo Score, or something resembling my trophy score. If I have to play Pikmin 3, or NSMBU without getting credit for finding collecting all the items/gold coins or what have you I will consider it one of the biggest upsets in gaming history.
See, one of the best things about my PS3 is the trophy support. My trophy score is constantly increasing, I love to make and watch it grow. Plus, the PSN allows you to synch your account with your Facebook so that you can post your trophies directly to your Facebook Wall. I really like thit feature, that in addition to my trophy score adds a whole new dimension to gaming for me. I mean c'mon! I can't even do that with my XBOX 360; that's why it collects dust (well that, and PSN is FREE).
So Nintendo, you better hook that up for me please, otherwise I will seriously reconsider your integrity and commitment to devoted Nintendo enthusiasts. Because look, I'm a trophy-hunter now, see? I'm going to need more than three gold star coins per level in NSMBU to keep me satisfied and interested. The only reason I question you on this is I could honestly see you opting out of it, in favor of trying something different. Kinda like what you did with the Wii and friend codes, remember that? We all regret that. So please, I am begging you, follow suit on this one Nintendo trust me, it's a no brainer, and a win-win for everybody.
