Will next-gen games cost more?

As I made my way home from school today, the radio in my car was tuned to Bloomberg news. For a second, they mentioned E3, speaking about Mircosoft's stock and particularly about how they planned to unveil their newest console at the event. 

Now this got me to thinking.

Most new Gamecube, Playstation 2, and Xbox games were priced at about $50.00. But when the current gen consoles were released, both Sony and Microsoft raised the price of their games by about $10. Nintendo, however, kept their games at the $50 mark. 

Are the next generation consoles going to come with a price hike? Sure, I'm dreading the price announcements for the new consoles, but how about the games? If the price is raised, will gamers keep quiet about it? Will YOU continue to buy as many games if the cost goes up?
