Closely following the debut of two new platforms — a marketing cloud from Tibco and a marketing-as-a-service offering from startup Doz — comes a new omnichannel marketing automation platform from Singapore-based global digital communications agency Interakt.

Called Resulticks, the platform is a rebuilt-from-the-ground version of an earlier, email-sending tool from the agency, and it’s now available from Interakt’s San Francisco-based subsidiary.

Launching tomorrow, Resulticks is targeted at marketers in Asia, the Middle East, and the U.S. Pro and enterprise subscription levels are available, and a free version should come out in about a month.

With so many online marketing tools for orchestrating campaigns, differentiation is often a matter of emphasis. Elijah Degen, Interakt’s U.S.-based global head of digital, told VentureBeat that the combination of big data handling, marketing automation, and enterprise reporting made Resulticks the equivalent of “three platforms in one.”

“There are no silos. It’s fully integrated,” he said. “One platform built from the ground up,” with reports that can track results across channels.

This integration of data-handling makes for easier reporting, he said. Another feature that Interakt touts is its benchmarking capability, such as comparing a current campaign against past efforts or against industry metrics.

You might not know if you’ve gotten a good conversion rate in organic channels like SMS or social, Degen told us, “so we try to give you a yardstick.”

The platform is also being pitched for its ease of use, an increasingly powerful argument as many marketers are undoubtedly wondering these days if they need to hire a data scientist.

Hence, the marketing of this agency-derived platform by its trademarked phrase: “By marketers. For marketers.” The launch presentation cites an unnamed global financial services provider as proclaiming: “Finally, a platform you can use without having a Ph.D.”

“We’ve tried to streamline all that usability,” Degen said, such as in A/B testing or in the capability to “just dump [campaign results] into a PowerPoint for your C-level execs.”

Since the platform’s parent is also an agency, clients can also avail themselves of consulting services about, say, general strategy or big data integration.
