Instead, the site is focused on cultivating a new focus on both mainstream and underground music groups. The slick new version of the website first debuted back in November, as VentureBeat previously reported.
Myspace is doing its best to pique interest by former and new users. Not only is it making a new single by Timberlake and rapper Jay-Z available for free, it’s also allowing you to sign up with your Facebook, Twitter, or old Myspace account.

Upon signing in, you’ll notice a set of music player controls along the bottom of the page and another ad plugging the single. I was expecting Myspace to prompt me at least three times to “find friends” but it was far more interested in explaining how the bottom music player functioned.
