If you’re planning to buy one of Google’s signature Nexus 7 tablets, you might want to hold off for a while.

At least a few people have, however, been able to snag the device. As The Verge pointed out yesterday, Staples sold a 32GB Nexus 7 to one lucky customer.
The 32GB Nexus 7 will sell for $250 while the 16GB model will drop to $200. Essentially, customers are getting an upgrade on storage without any additional cost. My guess is that the 8GB will eventually be phased out.

The move to upgrade the devices was likely done to keep the Nexus 7 competitive going into the holiday season. Amazon’s 7-inch Kindle Fire HD 16GB and 32GB models also retail at the same prices.
