Adobe announced today that it will be rolling out some app updates to help marketers create eye-catching social photos and videos.
The company said an update to its Adobe Social mobile application will tie it more closely to Adobe’s Creative Cloud via the Aviary Photo Editor. Aviary’s tools will now be available through the Adobe Social app, allowing users to perform some basic editing and then add hashtags and filters or draw whimsically hilarious pictures on photos and videos.
In addition, the company will now make its new Publish Anywhere feature, which has been in beta, publicly available to all users of the Adobe Social app. The new Publish Anywhere feature is designed to help marketers more closely monitor social conversations and tailor content to appeal to those audiences.
The mobile app photo tools update will go live in late August. The Publish Anywhere update is available on Adobe Social for desktop today.
