Created in the spirit of “office hours”-type help sessions, these hangouts are intended to increase communication between the company and the third-party developers, to answer common questions, to address upcoming changes, to highlight success stories and best practices, and more. All hangouts will be archived on YouTube; here’s a recent example:
Hangouts will occur every Wednesday at 2 p.m. Pacific Time and will be broadcast from Google’s Mountain View headquarters. “Expect to see these hangouts in more time zones as our teams in London, Sydney, and Tokyo get involved,” Meier writes.
“We’re looking forward to interacting with you even more closely, so add us to your circles, join the conversation by commenting on posts, and join the hangouts. We can’t wait to hear what you have to say.”
