Enterprise cloud storage and collaboration powerhouse Box has updated its Android app with lots of new features to keep business teams better connected on the platform.
Box has a strong mobile presence with apps for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Windows 8. On Android alone, the app has attracted more than 4.4 million downloads to date, so there’s good reason to give the Android version as many helpful features as possible.
The latest version includes a new navigation drawer that can be accessed by swiping from the left on the screen, a redesigned updates feed, an Android home screen widget that can be resized, new folder sorting options, real-time file status updating, and the ability to switch between Box accounts.

Out of these new features, the one that stands out the most is switching between accounts. Some companies don’t allow employees to use the same Box accounts for work and personal use. So any frequent Box user who wants to use two accounts can now access both of those easily on the Android app.
On top of the new features, Box has also added Finnish language support in Android. That brings languages in the Android app to 23.
Box said it plans to show off more innovation at its BoxWorks conference in September. Check out the video below for more on the new features in Box for Android.
