Chrome for Android gets its own bleeding-edge Canary channel

Google has announced that it’s expanding its bleeding-edge Canary channel for Chrome to Android.

Historically, Google has introduced early versions of Chrome upgrades to the early adopter / developer fraternity, who put it through its paces and give feedback to the internet giant ahead of its arrival on prime time. Canary has hitherto been available for Windows and Mac, and as the earliest version of Chrome that hasn’t been put through the wringer, it can contain many bugs.

So far, Android has offered Dev, Beta, and Stable channels on Android, but by adding Canary to the mix, Google is hoping to hasten the arrival of new features and bug fixes in the full public version of the app. The company says that it will ship updates to Canary every day from Monday to Friday, though it may include weekends in the future.
