The company announced that it has decided the winners in a post on Google+. Google ran a competition asking anyone to use the hashtag “IfIHadGlass” and an awesome activity you’d do with Google Glass. Entries included researching a book on Yaks, help a grandmother experience Japan while in the U.S., and hiking to Machu Pichu. Google says it is alerting winners through Google+ and Twitter over the next few days and will follow up in a private message about where winners can obtain their prized glasses.

If you do a search on Twitter you can already find some of the winners.

Winners are only be individuals, however. Google called out businesses in its blog post saying it appreciates the enthusiasm, but it isn’t quite ready with a business product just yet. It does, however, have something in store for those companies who want to use Google Glass.

Of course, the winner will still have to cough up the heft $1,500 for the device. Google did not release a time frame for when its new Explorers will get their Google Glass.
