In January, Google updated its main Android app with a big enhancement to Google Now: serving cards from third-party apps right when they have timely information to provide. The new functionality was supported by an initial 40 apps, and today Google has added 70 more partners to the mix.
This update brings the total number of apps with Google Now cards to over 100. The full list is available here, and you can see how each of the cards works on this page.

To take advantage of this Google Now feature, you’ll need to grab the latest versions of not just the Google app, but all the Android apps you want to serve you cards. The company didn’t say when it plans to bring the feature to its iOS app, though it did promise “more apps and functionality” are on the way for Android.
With Google I/O 2015 exactly one month from today, Google will soon be sharing more about its Google Now plans. An increasing list of third-party apps is definitely on the docket, but we’d wager the company will also talk more broadly about its vision for serving you information not just when you ask, but simply whenever you might need it.
