The flashy HTC One Android smartphone will finally make its way to Verizon Wireless on Aug. 22, the company said via Twitter today.
The HTC One costs $200 with a two-year contract. By all accounts, the HTC One is the best Android smartphone on the market right now. Yes, better than the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the new Motorola Moto X. So it makes sense to have one of the best smartphones ever on all carriers possible, especially Verizon, which has more subscribers than AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile.

The company is doing this despite its horrendous earnings, but likely it wants to drum up more support for the HTC One and convince more people to try it out.
If you’re not a fan of HTC One on a carrier and want the phone unlocked, you can also buy it from Google for $600. What makes this version so nice is that it has stock Android preloaded on it instead of the HTC’s custom Android skin.
