On the day Apple launched the iPhone 7, some users are experiencing problems accessing iTunes and the App Store. The services appear to be preventing people from signing in to either back up or restore their devices, or even download updated apps.

First reported by The Next Web, the outage is believed to have been started earlier this morning, with people reporting they can’t download apps, can’t open or load the App Store, or simply can’t log in, according to Down Detector. The Apple system page said that iTunes has been down since 1 p.m. Pacific today. It’s not affecting just those in the U.S., but also in Europe, Japan, and Australia.

This downtime couldn’t have come at a worse time for the company, as it’s the day when the next-generation iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have become available in stores. With the outage, people won’t easily be able to fully set up their device to make it their own. So not only do you have to wait in long lines, but now you’ll have to wait a bit longer to fully enjoy your new device.
