Robotics expert Michael McMaster has been building R2-D2 robots with his friends for years. But now he’s made a life-size working replica of Wall-E, the lovable robot from the Pixar film of the same name.
McMaster has designed the Wall-E robot to look almost exactly the same as it does in the film. His Wall-E is controlled via remote control and makes the movements and sounds of the Pixar hero.

To get the details so spot-on for Wall-E, McMaster and his friends took many screen captures from the high-def Blu-ray version of the movie and using those captures to build parts.
While this Wall-E doesn’t have artificial intelligence of the Pixar bot, it’s still extremely impressive all around. Check out the video above for more.
