Microsoft has bought Double Labs, a startup that developed Echo Notification Lockscreen, a free lockscreen app for Android.

Microsoft confirmed the deal to VentureBeat today following a report on the news from Business Insider.

Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. The startup appears to have been very small. Yin Yin Wu and Xuwen Cao, its cofounders, are the same people behind failed Y Combinator-backed on-demand laundry startup Prim.

Double Labs started in 2013 and had offices in Palo Alto, California. The Google Play Store reports that the app had received between 1 million and 5 million downloads.
