Microsoft today announced a preview of new iOS and Android apps for Skype for Business, a piece of software that’s meant as a modern replacement for Microsoft Lync.

Microsoft made Skype for Business generally available in April and released a Skype for Business app for Windows Phone last month. Now the app is becoming available in preview on more popular mobile operating systems.

People with Lync 2013 apps on iOS and Android will automatically get this new Skype for Business app as an update “later this year,” Microsoft Skype for Business principal group program manager Jared Goralnick wrote in a blog post on the news today. The app works for companies using Lync Server 2013, Skype for Business Server 2015, and Skype for Business Online.

The dashboard in the new app displays upcoming meetings, recent calls, and a search bar to find contacts. And during presentations, users can view both content and the video stream of the person speaking on the same screen.
