Pictures of the next generation of Google’s popular Nexus 7 tablet have leaked to the web thanks to the @evleaks Twitter account.

Google launched the Nexus 7 tablet last year in late June, so it’s likely a refresh of the product is coming soon. When the Nexus 7 tablet launched, we called it the first Android tablet worth owning.

We don’t expect the refresh of the Nexus 7 to be huge, but it will at least add some new features. The press images provided by @evleaks show a new rear-facing camera, a notification light, and dual speakers. The unit will likely be available in 16GB and 32GB models like the first edition.

Additionally, Android Central has noticed that a Best Buy ad appears to tease the next Nexus 7 for a launch on Tuesday, July 30. The Best Buy ad claims the device will have a 1,920 x 1,200 screen, 16GB of storage, and a $230 price tag.
