Samsung has launched its new S Health service that can track your weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar on the Galaxy S III smartphone, the company announced today on its company blog.
While the company briefly mentioned the S Health service when it announced the S III in early May, it is just now launching the service in the United States, South Korea, and five European countries.
The S Health app makes it possible to connect your Galaxy S III phone with a variety of other health devices through Bluetooth and USB. Once connected with other devices, it can measure blood pressure, blood sugar, and your weight and chart your results. Ideally, the app will help you learn your everyday health patterns so you can make adjustments to your diet and exercise.
