Rapidly expanding mobile payments startup Square has hired Salesforce SVP Sarah Friar to be its new CFO, the company announced this morning.

The company has more than 1 million accounts accepting credit cards.

Prior to this position, Friar served as senior VP of finance and strategy at Salesforce for a little over a year. Before that, Friar was a hotshot software analyst for Goldman Sachs for more than 10 years.
