Phones running Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 platform will be here soon, and Nokia will be on the front line with its just-announced Lumia 810 for T-Mobile.

We were initially perplexed that the 820 was an “AT&T exclusive,” but it turns out Nokia changed the number and decided to make sure T-Mobile customers could get in on Windows Phone 8 with 810.
For specs, the Lumia 810 offers a 4.3-inch OLED display, 8-megapixel back camera, 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera with Skype calling built-in, and more.

“The Nokia Lumia 810 gives customers speedy, 4G access to T-Mobile’s nationwide network, and the content and features they want, whenever they need it,” T-Mobile VP Andrew Morrison said in a canned statement. “From navigation tools to an enhanced camera, the Lumia 810 provides a great value and a high-quality experience.”
T-Mobile expects the device to be available in “the coming weeks.” That timing pairs well with the invite we received for Windows Phone 8’s Oct. 29 launch event.
