All of the notification options are opt-in, meaning that you can choose to be pinged if your favorite Page has made an announcement or shared a photo. And let’s not forget the types of notices you can get if you have location sharing enabled and Facebook wants to pass along information about nearby businesses that may be interesting to you.
These aren’t the only cards that you can add, either. Facebook said you can add more by tapping an arrow to the right of each card or by choosing “Add More Cards” at the bottom of the tab. Of course the company said it “may periodically add more cards to choose from.”
The new personalization options are being rolled out starting today for Facebook’s Android and iOS apps in the United States.
