Amazon’s Fire TV set-top box’s voice-control feature just got more useful.
Today, the company announced that Fire TV apps for Hulu Plus, Crackle, and Showtime Anytime will now be integrated into the device’s voice search. Previously, music video service Vevo was the only third-party service with voice control. That means you’ll be able to pull up content within each of the aforementioned Fire TV apps when doing a universal search.

The Fire TV’s voice control is located on the set-top box’s remote, and it’s one of the biggest selling points for the device. If you don’t believe me, that’s OK. Amazon also hired Gary Busey to demonstrate its usefulness. However, if you want a more thorough rundown of Amazon’s set-top box, check out VentureBeat’s Fire TV review.
