EVgo continues to receive some funding from NRG, and, in May, the newly independent EVgo also secured a significant investment from Vision Ridge Partners.
As a standalone company, EVgo is continuing its mission of expanding electric car charging infrastructure. It is also courting new customers, and it’s hard to think of a better way to do that than by participating in National Drive Electric Week.
The event started in 2011 as National Plug-In Day and continues to be run by advocacy group Plug In America, the Sierra Club, the Electric Auto Association, and various smaller local groups.
