Hexadite, a service provider of cybersecurity solutions, has officially launched and positioned itself to compete in a rather crowded industry.
Starting today, Hexadite provides cybersecurity assistance using military-grade technology that it claims has never been used for the purpose before. Eran Barak, the cofounder and CEO of Hexadite, says that its services enables customers to handle cybersecurity attacks 95 percent faster.
“We found that in the time it takes to identify an attack, you were already affected by the virus in the system — this was the problem,” said Barak. “It may take days, even weeks, to identify an attack. We understood that once we could shorten the gap from the time the virus entered the system to the time it was identified, we would give the organization an advantage. This is why we established Hexadite.”
Barak went on to explain that Hexadite is not about preventing cyber-attacks but about addressing them quickly and efficiently once they have been identified.

Hexadite works with a range of large-scale enterprises as well as government agencies and technology businesses.
This is one of many cybersecurity providers attempting to protect businesses from the impact of unexpected attacks. Mandiant, which also offers incident response management solutions, is likely one Hexadite’s biggest competitors. Mandiant, which FireEye just acquired, provides services to more than 1,500 customers in similar industries.
Hexadite is in Tel Aviv, Israel, and has plans to expand into the U.S. with the establishment of a new office in the near future. In the coming months, the company will be investing more in research and development and will concentrate on expansion, Barak said.
