Zuckerberg: Facebook will soon support 360-degree videos in the News Feed & on Oculus

Today Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will “soon” support “spherical” 360-degree videos in its Newsfeed.

In addition, Zuck says Facebook will bring these spherical videos to Oculus VR.

This news is pretty interesting, but it’s not all that surprising, especially when you consider that YouTube recently started supporting this style of video.

Facebook shared the news above during its F8 developer conference at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco.
