He's not just any guy. He's Guy — the latest addition to the Street Fighter 4 cast. Capcom Special Advisor Seth Killian gives us a sneak peek at this high-flying, high-kicking warrior's strengths and weaknesses in the upcoming Super SF4….

On what he likes about Guy:

Seth Killian: Guy is one of my favorite characters, and he's still got all the moves that I loved from before. I like him because he's very mobile — he's got a very fast run move, and he's got a bunch of different options off of that run. So he can go for an overhead attack or a sliding kick or just stop — just cancel the run instantly and stop right in front of your face.

He's the type of character that keeps you guessing and stays very much in your face. In terms of overall play style, he plays closer to El Fuerte, but with a variety of different options. He's also got this flipping forward attack where he can either grab you or you can stop it in the middle and drop an elbow.

But that's the thing about Guy. There are all these different moves, but you have options off of those moves. So he's more of an expert character — you're always having to think two steps ahead. But for people who like to play a very fast-paced game and have a lot of options at any given point. He's really great.

He's also got one of my favorite Ultra Combos in the game right now. But he'll have a lot of interesting options versus everyone else. Characters that depend on projectiles will really have to worry about him because he's got a million ways to get around them. He's going to be fun to see in action.

On the troubles Guy might face:

SK: Guy is definitely going to have problems. Basically the only way he can do damage you is by getting next to you. He has a lot of options for closing the distance and getting around fireballs and things like that. But for tank characters like a Zangief, it's just going to be dangerous for Guy because he has to be right next to you, landing a series of light punches and trying to set up combos….

And that's just dangerous when you're standing around someone like Zangief. If you miss one of your combos, you're going to get pile-driven. You got to worry about [Zangief's spinning] Lariat if you're jumping in…. Basically, you're in danger — a lot.

So characters that hit hard and have that sort of tank-like thing — Honda I think will also be a very difficult match-up for Guy. Those two will be his hardest fights.
